How to document with photos in the partner portal

Photos decide cases. When a discrepancy is discussed, a home is in worse condition than ordered, or a task cannot be performed, the photo taken at that moment documents what was actually the case. A photo sent in a private chat, however, is quickly lost for case processing – upload it to the partner portal, in the thread the case concerns.

Photos in discrepancy threads

Each discrepancy has its own message thread ("Conversation about the discrepancy"). There you can attach photos with your message: click the photo icon in the writing field, select the photos, and send. The photos will remain in the thread along with your explanation, visible to Vaskeladden and linked to the correct discrepancy.

Take photos before you start the remediation and after it is done. This way, the thread shows both what was wrong and that it has been corrected.

When should you document extra?

  1. The home is in worse condition than the order indicates. Take overview photos before you start, and report before you do work beyond the agreed scope.
  2. A task cannot be performed – for example, a window you cannot reach safely, or equipment that cannot be turned off. Take a photo and explain why in the thread.
  3. Lack of access. Document the time and what hindered you (locked door, code not working), and report immediately.

What about photos sent on WhatsApp?

Photos you send in the WhatsApp dialogue with Vaskeladden reach the operations team, but they do not become part of the discrepancy. If the photo is to document a case, upload it to the portal in the correct thread. See also the article "WhatsApp and the partner portal: what belongs where".
