Vaskeladden

Redact information in the documents

Which information you redact in payslips and employment contracts before uploading, and how Vaskeladden uses and deletes the documents.

This is part of Documents you need to upload.

Redact information we do not need

Before uploading payslips and employment contracts, you must redact names, national identity numbers or D numbers, employee numbers, private addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and bank account numbers. Also redact tax deductions, union dues, details regarding illness or leave, wage attachments, child support deductions, and other private deductions. Leave the company name, pay period, employment percentage, working hours, pay rate, and relevant gross amounts visible.

Redaction does not necessarily make the document completely anonymous. In a small company, the information can still be linked to an individual. Section 6a of the Duty to Ensure Compliance Regulations states that personal data that is not necessary must not be shared. The regulations require Vaskeladden to keep the information confidential, use it solely for compliance checks, and delete it once the need for verification has ended.

Only personnel who require the documents for compliance verification shall have access. Once the check is complete and the documents confirm that requirements are met, copies of the documents must be deleted. In the event of non-compliance, they should only be retained for as long as necessary for follow-up. A verification log excluding document copies may be kept.
