How the invoice gets paid
How we pay the invoice with a KID or a message, what happens after submission, where to find previous invoices, and what to do about late payment or when the collaboration is paused or terminated.
This is part of Invoicing and settlement for partners.
The payment deadline follows your agreement. The standard agreement from 9 September 2026 sets it to 14 days after the end of the period (Appendix A), see When and how do I invoice?.
How the invoice gets paid
Each invoice under Your invoices shows how we will pay it:
- Paid with KID … when the invoice has a valid KID.
- Paid with message: Invoice … when the invoice does not have a KID. The invoice number will then be included in the payment message.
An invalid KID must be corrected before you can submit. Create a credit note and a new invoice with the correct KID, or without a KID. If we cannot read the KID from the text in the PDF, upload the PDF directly from your invoicing software instead of an image or scan.
After submission
We check the invoice against the basis, approve it, and pay within the payment deadline specified in your contract. If anything is missing, you will be notified under Finance. Users with access to Finance can also receive updates under Messages.
Where do I find previous invoices?
Select the month under Finance. Your invoices displays the invoices and credit notes you uploaded or sent via EHF or email for that month, and the assignments show which invoice they were submitted with. You can also find the invoices themselves in your invoicing system.
For work completed before 1 September 2026, you invoice according to the agreement in effect for that period. If you have questions regarding the payment of a previous invoice, write under Messages and state the invoice number, invoice date, and month.
What do I do in the event of late payment?
If the payment deadline in your agreement has passed, write in Messages. State the invoice number, invoice date, and the relevant month, enabling Vaskeladden to locate the invoice and follow up on payment.
If the collaboration is paused or terminated
If your company is suspended as a partner or the collaboration is terminated, access to assignments, Messages, and Questions about the invoice basis? in the partner portal is closed. A user with access to Finance can still open Invoice basis, upload, and submit invoices for work already performed. Other users only see status information. If you have any questions, please contact your contact person at Vaskeladden.
If you have received a final settlement from Vaskeladden showing a negative balance, send a credit note for the amount. We verify the credit note against the final settlement.
