What is included in a move-out cleaning
Move-out cleaning: cabinets and drawers inside and out; walls and ceilings are dry-mopped. Wet washing of walls and ceilings is not performed: it can cause streaks on painted surfaces. Your signed agreement sets out the assignment's specific scope. A basement included in the ordered living area is included; unfinished basements, storage rooms, storage areas, and uncompleted basements are priced separately. If the type or area is unclear, we will ask.

The cleaning also covers surfaces that are not usually included in regular cleaning, including behind and under appliances when you have ensured access, windows, baseboards, and vents. The goal is for the home to be ready for handover without any remarks from the landlord or real estate agent.
What is done room by room?
The scope follows a set checklist. The specific content may vary slightly depending on the size and condition of the home, but this is the standard we work by:

If you are in doubt about whether something is included, ask us before the cleaning day.

We bring cleaning agents and equipment. If you have natural stone in the bathroom or kitchen or other delicate surfaces, please let us know in advance. Acidic descaling agents must not be used on marble, granite, or slate.
Do you clean the windows on the outside?
Yes. We clean windows inside and out as far as we can reach with a two-step ladder, up to approx. 300 cm from the floor or ground level. We do not use tall ladders or lifts. Windows beyond this reach are not included and cannot be ordered as an add-on. Let us know before ordering if you are unsure about access to the windows.
What does the landlord or real estate agent require upon handover?
Most standard contracts require the home to be delivered "tidy and cleaned", and when selling, a separate move-out cleaning before handover is customary. In practice, the new occupant looks for the same points listed above: clean appliances, descaled bathroom, cleaned windows, and empty cabinets that are washed inside. Check your agreement for what has been specifically agreed – some contracts specify, for example, exterior window cleaning or patio cleaning.
What falls outside a move-out cleaning?
A move-out cleaning is cleaning, not renovation or repair. The following are not included:
- Wet washing of walls and ceilings – this is not performed and cannot be ordered, as it can cause streaks on painted surfaces. Walls and ceilings are dry mopped instead.
- Cleaning of balconies, storage rooms, fireplaces, and garages, unless agreed upon separately.
- Removal of furniture, trash, and personal belongings. We can clean a furnished home when notified in advance. We do not move furniture or other objects, and clean around whatever remains.
- Painting, plastering, or repairing holes, scratches, and damage to surfaces.
- Removal of fixed fixtures, chemical drain clearing, or work requiring a plumber or electrician.
- Exterior washing of roofs, facades, or gardens, unless agreed upon separately.
- Stains that have set over time, such as burn marks, limescale that has hardened for years, or discoloration in grout – we do our best, but some damage cannot be washed away.
- Exterior blinds. Cleaning these requires specialized equipment and is considered facade work. It is not included in the move-out cleaning and cannot be ordered as a standard add-on to it.
A basement that is part of the residence and included in the square meters you provided when ordering is included in the move-out cleaning. Unfinished basements, storage rooms, utility spaces, and undeveloped cellars are add-ons with separate pricing in the quote. If it is unclear what type of basement it is, or whether it is counted in the square meters, we will ask.

Safety during descaling
Bathrooms and kitchens often require strong agents. A couple of rules we always follow:
- Never mix bleach with anything other than water. Bleach combined with vinegar produces chlorine gas, and with ammonia or salmiak it produces chloramine – both are dangerous to inhale.
- Acids such as vinegar, citric acid, and limescale remover damage natural stone, marble, granite, and slate, and can damage untreated wood. We always test on a hidden area first.
How does the guarantee work?
