Partner FAQ: requirements, onboarding, and equipment

Answers to questions about partner requirements, how to become a partner, and who provides equipment, uniform, and products.

This is part of Partner FAQ.

Requirements for partners

[!note]- What formal requirements apply?

→ Registered business (AS or ENK) with a valid organisation number (we verify against Brønnøysundregistrene). → Godkjent status in the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority's Renholdsregisteret before the business can receive assignments from Vaskeladden. → Valid HMS cards for everyone performing cleaning. → Valid general liability insurance and certificate of insurance. → Relevant cleaning experience (residential and/or commercial). → Professional written communication – you must be able to handle the portal, email, and customer dialogue. → Capacity – you cannot already be fully booked with other assignments. → Up-to-date compliance documents in the partner portal: HMS cards, insurance certificates, payslips, and employment contracts.

See Documents you must upload for required numbers, content, and submission methods.

[!note]- Can a company without a VAT number become a partner?

Yes. A VAT number is not a separate partner requirement. The business must have a valid organisation number, be approved in Renholdsregisteret, hold valid HMS cards and general liability insurance, and comply with its own obligations for VAT registration and invoicing.

[!note]- What language requirements do you have?

Norwegian or English at a level that enables you to handle the portal, customer dialogue, and practical agreements.

[!note]- Do I need a police certificate or background check?

We evaluate any need for background checks based on the assignment type and customer. Any requirements are clarified during onboarding and as part of compliance follow-up.

Onboarding – how to become a partner

[!note]- How do I become a partner?

  1. Fill out the form at vaskeladden.com/partnere.
  2. Vaskeladden calls you to verify your identity and signature rights, and approves the business.
  3. Log in to the partner portal and accept the partner agreement. Then upload documentation and set your availability.

See Getting started as a partner for requirements prior to your first assignment, and How to accept the partner agreement for approval and the stored agreement.

[!note]- What does the onboarding form cover?

The form requests business and contact information. You accept the partner agreement in the partner portal after the business is approved. Verify that the details apply to the correct business before accepting.

[!note]- What if the organisation number is not approved?

Check the organisation number and business details, and follow the error message in the form. If the business is already registered or you get stuck, contact kontakt@vaskeladden.com.

[!note]- How long does onboarding take?

Time to startup depends on documentation, agreement acceptance, and partner demand in your area. Vaskeladden will notify you of the next steps.

Equipment, uniform, and products

[!note]- Do I get a uniform or workwear?

You procure and pay for workwear yourself. It must be suitable, clean, and presentable. You choose the supplier as long as the clothing meets requirements for quality, safety, hygiene, and the environment.

[!note]- Who provides cleaning products and equipment?

As a partner, you procure, pay for, and maintain equipment and materials required for the assignment. The standard agreement from 9 September 2026 maintains the same general rule for regular cleaning, specialized cleaning, and additional tasks. Any alternative arrangement must be agreed upon in writing. See Consumables on assignments.

[!note]- How should I present myself to the customer?

Act professionally as an independent partner. Do not give the impression that you are employed by Vaskeladden or represent the company beyond the specific assignment. You are responsible for customer dialogue regarding execution, logistics, and deviations on the assignment. Forward commercial inquiries and issues you cannot resolve to Vaskeladden, and document clarifications in the partner portal.
