The Invoice basis card, additions and corrections
What the Invoice basis card shows, how work from another month, additions, corrections and discrepancies appear in the basis, and how submitted invoices are turned into a basis.
This is part of How to read the invoice basis.
The Invoicing basis card
The Invoicing basis card is displayed next to the list on large screens and above the list on mobile devices. Under Your invoices, you can upload PDFs and view the documents you have uploaded or sent via EHF or email.
Before you upload anything, the card shows what we expect to be invoiced for the month. Once you upload invoices, it displays three amounts excl. VAT: Basis is the ready work, On invoices is what you have invoiced, and Ready to submit is the work where the invoice matches. Below, any discrepancies are described in plain text, for example "2 assignments have incorrect amounts".
You can drop the PDFs anywhere on the page. As you drag files over the window, Drop PDFs here is displayed, and the invoices will be placed in the month you are currently viewing. If an invoice applies to a different month, we will assign it to that month and notify you in the card: "The invoice applies to August 2026 – we have placed it there." Click Go to August 2026 to view it.
Click on a row in the Invoice column, a line item, or a document to review the details in the card. There you can compare the basis against what you have invoiced, see what is incorrect, and find out what action to take. You can also view the PDF and see how the invoice will be paid. Return using Back to overview.
For instructions on how to correct and submit, see When the invoice does not match and Submit the invoices.
Work from another month
Each month displays only its own work. An assignment from September that had to wait for a deviation will become ready in September once the deviation is resolved, and you will invoice it under September.
Work performed before 1 September 2026 will not be included in the statement. You invoice that according to the agreement in effect for that period. Work that has already been submitted or paid should not be invoiced again.
Additions, corrections, and discrepancies
Additions and corrections can increase or reduce the total. Read the line description to see what the change applies to. A negative line is a deduction and reduces the amount. You must credit a deduction with a credit note before you can submit.
Changes registered after you have submitted will appear as a correction in the same month. A correction shows which statement and which work date it applies to. You credit a deduction with a credit note, and you invoice an addition with a new invoice.
A discrepancy does not automatically mean a deduction. An open discrepancy puts the work on hold, and a deduction appears as a separate line once the discrepancy is resolved. Below the row, you can see what the customer reported, and you can open the full discrepancy under Discrepancies.
If you disagree with an amount or need an explanation, use Questions about the statement?. See Questions and errors in the invoice basis.
From invoice to statement
You do not download any statement. Once the invoices are correct and you click Submit to Vaskeladden, we create the statement for the exact work covered by the invoices and link it to the invoices. Afterwards, the assignments are marked as Submitted with the invoice number. Completed work you have not invoiced will remain as Ready for invoicing, and you can submit it later. See Invoicing and settlement for partners for when you can send invoices and How the invoice gets paid for how they are paid.
